There was also the 6 part BBC series Quatermass and the Pit. It aired over December - January 1958 - 59. Each part was 30 minutes. The BBC series was slower moving, but explained a bit more. The movie has a tighter, faster pace, and is better at maintaining interest and suspense. The other difference is that in the BBC series, the “pit” was open air - essential a big hole on the ground. In the movie, the pit is underground, giving the movie a claustrophobic and creepier feel. Plus the movie has Barbara Shelley - a real added bonus. Thank you for posting this clip.
I wasn't gay until I watched Reeves in this movie. Holy smokes. But those beautiful women made me straight again.
Chelo Alonso linda bailarina
Siempre me gustó mucho estás lindas películas grandes joyas de oro de cine
James Bond, I doubt it. He like a young Brook Shields only had the looks. His voice was always dub. No real acting chops. He was ok for his B-movies in Italy.
No need to have dubbed his voice. He had a good baritone voice himself. He was a modestly gifted actor, like Connery, Moore and most of the others who played Bond.
@@gregshock He studdered
@@serfardi : Nonsense. I’ve heard him speak on video a number of times and never once heard him stutter. You made that up.
The scene with the police constable and Quatermass in the derelict house. Still gives me the shivers. Brilliant story and cast. This is my favourite Hammer horror.
I can't figure out why this failed at the box office. I shit and piss myself at nearly every scene. This used to get air time all the time.
Where can i see this movie at
As a kid watching this movie it really scared me,I had nightmares for weeks.
The British are masters of suspense. They do not need 8 killings per minute like US films to entertain. One of my all time favorite movies. Spectacular!
My god what a slept on movie..if you want to laugh your a$$ off this is the movie that will get it done...MAFIA!! 😂😂
My uncle was the taxi driver in this clip! Love this movie so much i found an Australian DVD of it on ebay 10 years ago!
Where Can i see the full movie?
You never take your troops and pur them in formation in the field like that
Hey, one nut!! Want a beer? 😂😂

5 Million Years to Earth
thats a great question
John if you're watching this, you're not very good. This acting thing ain't for ya kid
I think that Steve and Elvis were the most handsome men of all time. Its a shame though that they always made Steve lose weight for his films. He would of looked even more imposing at his full Bodybuilding weight.
Okay Daddy ❤ Steve Reeves
He's not reich!
Saleh fine Asf 😅
Interesting that the subway station is Hobb's End. In folklore, Old Hob (Hobb) was the devil.
What an incredible actor Derek Jacobi is. Anyone who can play Shakespeare roles, Hitler, Claudius & the adorable Stuart from Vicious is a chameleon.
filmed in italy great film, steve reeves lifting weights before the whole world
1:36 as soon she was about to say her husband has dementia the drugs started 😪
Liked him in The Chase and Sandborn hour
Their eyes had failed them or they had failed their eyes, and so they were having their fingers pressed forcibly down on the fiery Braille alphabet of a dissolving economy.
I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. But I am the opposite of a stage magician. He gives you illusion that has the appearance of truth. I give you truth in the pleasant disguise of illusion.
Donde la puedo ver completa en castellano..,?
Love how sports unites the world...This movie is legendary God bless everyone always!
Always remember this scene as a kid when the older Pirate started to take off his shirt and saw the beautiful muscularity of Steve Reeves and stopped taking his shirt off. 😅
hot with and without moustache
Need the full fill, both versions
I heard this movie got BANNED in England--- WHY?????
Hitler speak english,!!
Turned me Mother on to this film...She loved it...She would call me late at night...Quarterman is on at 11:00 pm...
One of the worst, most offensive Hollywood movies of all time. Such a waste of talent.
Will never understand the shmocks who panned this movie. Wonderful, warm-hearted, endearing comedy written by real life. Oscar material, stick the golden raspberry up yours, all you idiots who panned this. Thanks to y'all Don, RIP & Tom, and all the rest of the supporting cast. BTW in Asia it's normal for kids to take in their parents and to care of & for them with all the trimmings.
Hive mind spaceship with mysterious power drives people nuts, mayhem ensues.
Ugh, a meeting between those two would certainly have not ended well, while Morgan conducted himself with level-headedness and professionalism, L' Olonnais was full of twisted psychotic rage and hatred and thrived on acts of horrifying barbaric cruelty even against his own crew. I do believe, however, Morgan could've easily sent the dastardly French buccaneer to 'ol Davy Jones since he wasn't just a seaman but also a brilliant tactician and would be wise to L' Olonais' tricks and could easily outsmart him in pitched combat.
Well spoken
@@romeoromero9612 Appreciated. Given how L'Olonnais behaved, his was way more of that of a cold-blooded pirate than a noble privateer, I don't deny that Morgan could also be ruthless but at least he didn't stoop to L'Ollonais' level of brutality. Morgan's services allowed him to live out his remaining days in majestic splendor whereas L'Ollonais the monster met his horrific end by going into the wrong territory. Himself being killed, mutilated and burned by cannibals.
I LOVE how the NBA is investing in the African Basketball League ... A lot of great basketball talent comes from that country ☺
Saw this on a B&W TV in '69 or '70. Hadn't realized how good the production values were seeing it on the small screen.
Guinness, Jacobi, Hopkins... had no idea any of them had portrayed Hitler!!
congratulations Putin you just made the Nazi regime look like angeis in comparison to your insane antics
Derek Jacobi is a great actor, but his younger Hitler to me looks more like Ernst Roehm.
I saw it in 1962 for the first time and have liked it ever since.
Mega swoon!!
🤭😯 Tom Selleck <> NO mustache! Angelia <> Parelli Natural Horse•man•ship
Oh SHIT 😮🤯 Derek Jacobi played also this Titanic series that came out in 2012-2013 i think and he portrayed Lord William Perrie who was the uncle of Titanic’s Master ship designer Thomas Andrews. I need to watch this film
